BioHackathon on Aging

BIONIC recently organized and executed an 8 hour “BioHackathon” on the challenges of aging. The goal of the hackathon was to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration to solve biomedical problems.

The event began with experts in the field (a clinician and an engineer) highlighting the areas of greatest need in which engineers could improve the lives of the aging population. Additional information on the event and the solutions discussed were documented in a manuscript that can be found here.
